These terms explain the permitted use of ohmnook.com and our responsibilities. Please read them when using the site. They do not constitute consent to cookies or personal-data processing.
Our guides and retailer links
We publish home office technology guides, comparisons and recommendations. Our content provides general information to help you research purchases. It is not personalised professional advice or a guarantee of a product's suitability, safety or performance.
Specifications, compatibility, stock and regional models can change. Check the relevant manufacturer's documentation and the retailer's current offer before buying. Follow manufacturer instructions when setting up or modifying equipment.
OhmNook does not sell the products linked in its guides or operate their checkout. Your purchase contract is with the retailer. Contact that retailer about payment, delivery, returns and warranties. This does not remove any responsibility we have for our own conduct or any rights you have against us under applicable law.
Some links earn us a commission. See our Affiliate Disclosure. External websites have their own terms and privacy practices; we do not control their operation.
Using and sharing our content
You may read our pages, share links and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source. Any use permitted by applicable copyright law remains permitted.
Except where permitted by law or our written permission, you may not reproduce or sell substantial parts of our content, republish it as your own, or systematically copy it for a competing publication or machine-learning dataset. These terms do not give us ownership of material that is not legally protected or belongs to someone else. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Some featured images are illustrative or AI-generated. They should not be treated as evidence of hands-on testing or as an exact depiction of a named product. Any testing claim must be supported by the article's stated methodology.
Responsible use
Do not attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, disrupt the website, or use it unlawfully. Automated access must not circumvent security measures or impose unreasonable load. We may take proportionate steps to protect the website against misuse.
If you send a correction or enquiry, we may use it to respond and investigate. Sending a message does not transfer ownership of it to us or grant a general right to publish your personal correspondence. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to maintain useful, accurate content, but errors and interruptions can occur. Tell us about an error using the contact details above. We may update articles or suspend parts of the service for maintenance, security or other operational reasons.
Responsibility and your rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights, including applicable Australian consumer guarantees, remain unaffected.
We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law for harm caused by our conduct. We do not promise that a retailer will perform its obligations or that a particular product will meet your needs. These statements do not excuse misleading statements by us or remove a remedy the law gives you.
Changes and disputes
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the website or law. The revised date will appear above. Changes are prospective and do not remove rights that have already arisen. We will give additional notice where required.
The law of England and Wales governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply where you live. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents a consumer bringing a claim in another court where applicable law allows it or relying on mandatory local consumer protections.
For questions or concerns, email contact@ohmnook.com. Contacting us first is encouraged but is not a condition of exercising a legal right.
